Synopsis: Drama about the acts of genocide in Rwanda in 1994, from the point of view of a former Rwandan army officer who must relive the horrors he experienced ten years later, after receiving a letter from his brother who is now on trial for supposed crimes as a rebel frontman. Not knowing what fate befell his wife and children and further devastated by the death of his close friend, he must try to get beyond the past and begin living life anew with his girlfriend and job as a teacher. The story of how he tried to save his Tustsi wife and family against orders and how he was separated from them, always wondering their fate, is told against the backdrop 10 years later and he faces the horrors once again.
