Synopsis: A fictionalized account of an episode in the life of all-time Jazz great Miles Davis. Cheadle plays Davis and makes his feature film directorial debut from a script he co-wrote with Steven Baigelman. Jazz legend Herbie Hancock serves as the production’s Music Supervisor. “Miles Ahead” is a stylized, immersive account of Miles Davis’ life as he moves through the underbelly of the jazz world, struggling to regain his creativity and inspiration.
