Spike Lee’s ‘BlacKkKlansman’ Wins Grand Prix Award At Cannes

After receiving nearly universal acclaim after is bow at the Cannes Film Festival, Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman has been awarded the Grand Prix award, which is the runner-up award. The film. received a standing ovation which lasted 10 minutes after its premiere.
The main prize, the Palme d’Or, evaded Lee again and went to Japanese director Hirokazu Kore for Shoplifters.
