Synopsis: A mythical account of the life of Buddy Bolden, the first Cornet King of New Orleans.
Release Date: May 3, 2019 (USA) | Length: 108 min | Genre: Drama, Music | MPAA Rating: Rated R for sexual content and graphic nudity, brutal violence, language and drug use.
Note: Anthony Mackie initially starred in this film as Buddy Bolden, but after years of re-shoots and other issues, Mackie dropped out and was replaced by Gary Carr. In an article from Deadline Hollywood in May 2014, there was a tentative date of three months (August 2014) to finally complete the film but I found no information about the movie after that. The film was finally released in 2019.
