David Oyelowo has joined Luke Evans in thriller Three Seconds,” directed by Otto Bathurst.

Bloom is handling international sales; CAA and WME are repping domestic rights for the adaptation of the bestselling Swedish thriller by Anders Roslund and Borge Hellstrom.

Producers are Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk and Shine Pictures’ Ollie Madden, with Kevin Frakes and Raj Singh of PalmStar Media financing, and Erica Lee exec producing.

“Three Seconds” is the story of a man forced undercover in prison as part of an FBI operation, but when he’s abandoned by the agency, he has no choice but to escape on his own.

Oyelowo is represented by CAA and Inphenate in the U.S. and Hamilton Hodell in the U.K.
