Synopsis: Follows a disgraced detective in the NYPD who is given a shot at redemption. Thrust into a citywide manhunt for a cop killer, he begins to undercover a massive conspiracy that links his fellow cops to a criminal empire and must decide who he is hunting and who is actually hunting him. During the manhunt, Manhattan is completely locked down for the first time in its history – no exit or entry to the island including all 21 bridges. READ REVIEW
Release Date: November 22, 2019 (USA) | Length: 99 min | Genre: Action, Crime, Drama, Thriller | MPAA Rating: Rated R for violence and language throughout.
Note: Chadwick Boseman is also a producer on this project. Title changed from 17 Bridges to 21 Bridges. The release date of the film was moved back from July 12, 2019 to September 27, 2019 to make room for the Dave Bautista movie “My Spy“. I don’t understand the current excuse for moving this films release date again but the new date is above. Andre Cherry, Kenneth A. Asbury, Scheie Poitier and Kaiden Amar Robinson were in the original cast list but not in the final one. Not sure if Cheryl Singleton is Cheryl D. Singleton the theatre actress.
