Note: I found the name Mike Warren in the cast list. When I googled it, it came up Michael Warren. I checked Jet Magazine and just used the name Mike Warren and it came up star of Hill Street Blues, so until I find out otherwise, I will assume that Mike Warren and Michael Warren are the same person. Also, IMDB lists a Barbarao as being in the cast, but she is listed as Barbara O. Jones on the promotional poster. William Marshall’s name appears in an ad for the movie but not on the poster.
There is also a promotional flyer and an article in the Los Angeles Sentinel that give July 2, 1971 as the premier date at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
The film was funded by the “black population” using donations of money and blue chip stamp books.
I didn’t find a trailer or any film of this movie so I’m considering it lost.
