Synopsis: Following their discharge from the army in 1946, Clarence “Midnight” Brewster, a fast-talking con artist from Detroit, and Gus Brown, a country bumpkin from Oklahoma, team with Gus’s beautiful but dim-witted girlfriend, Raylene, to get what they want through elaborate schemes.
